the tape sessions
'the tape sessions' came about in the course of several weeks of jamming and analog recording
on good ol' tape cassettes. The sessions were recorded live, using guitars, voice, loop machines,
contact microphones, percussion and everyday objects. No samples or computers were involved.
The original outcome of every session has been preserved without overdubs, mix or post-processing.
The concept and production process was developed and accompanied by microdisco.org.
The digital album released on microdisco.org
includes one excerpt from each tape. You can download all tracks for free at
nilemaria.bandcamp.com

Botella Universo
Flaschenpost Universum
is a collaboration with the Argentinean writer Emanuel
López Muro. NH translated a book of poetry written by
ELM, then composed the music for a selection of poems.
In April of 2011 both went on tour in Northern
Germany, presenting a collage of poems read both in
German and Spanish with live music on stage. A bilin-
gual version of the same book was published by Abrazos
Books, Stuttgart. To acquire a copy please
